Prior to that, he served more than 30 years at Maybank, one of the most innovative and successful financial institutions. He held various important positions, including the responsibility of managing all Maybank branches. His last position at Maybank Berhad was General Manager of the Consumer Banking Division. He was also the former General Manager at Ambank Berhad from 2002-2005.<br \/><br \/>He held various important positions, including the responsibility of managing all Maybank branches. He was responsible for forming the first sales group in the bank and took on many responsibilities in strategizing portfolio management related to customers, products, and sales services, which encompassed customer loans, credit and debit cards, deposits, business facility stocks\/shares, Bancassurance, as well as electronic delivery channels and services.<\/p><p><br \/><br \/><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30fa847 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"30fa847\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Throughout his service in this industry, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Rules and Regulations Committee of the Association of Banks in Malaysia, and he also held several important positions, including being a Board Member of Maybank Property Trust and Maybank Trustee Berhad. He was also responsible for advancing the Bancassurance business model at Maybank since its launch in 1995 and further developed the business at Ambank.
