Rasmin Bin Hamzah Yap

Rasmin Bin Hamzah Yap holds a Bachelor of Quranic and Sunnah Studies with Honours from Islamic Science University of Malaysia . His areas of study were Ulum al-Quran, Tafsir al-Quran, Tafsir of Quranic Ayat On Law, Scientific Interpretation of Quran, Ulum al-Hadith, Studies of al-Hadith, Studies of al-Hadith on Law, Studies of Rijal al-Hadith and Takhrij al-Hadith, Research on Hadith Da’if and Maudhu’, Studies of Sunnah, Bid’ah and Khurafat, Quran and Sunnah Studies in Era of ICT, Fiqh Ibadah and Munakahat, Fiqh Muamalat and Jenayat, Fiqh al-Mu’asir, Islamic Aqidah, Contemporary Islamic Thought, Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence, Islamic Work Ethics, Islamic Legal Maxims and Islamic Public Policy.

In addition to his current job, he has experience conducting consultations and public talks on Islamic estate planning. His role includes developing business strategies, planning and executing business activities, streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, designing and implementing marketing and sales strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners and clients, and conducting training for Islamic Estate Planners since 2015. His areas of expertise include Islamic law of inheritance and other Islamic instruments related to estate planning.

He served as a Business Development Executive until 2018 at the Southern Region Branch, then progressed to Senior Business Development Executive, Assistant Regional Manager, and, since January 2022, he has been the Southern Region Manager of as-Salihin Trustee Berhad.
