Mohd Irwan bin Abu Zahar

Mohd Irwan Bin Abu Zahar holds a law degree and Syariah degree (LLB & LLB_S) from International Islamic University Malaysia. His areas of study were Islamic Law of Property, Probate and the Law of Succession, Islamic Legal System, Civil and Criminal Law, Public International Law, Transactions in Islamic Law, Quranic Ayat and Hadith on Law, Usul al Fiqh and Evidence and Procedure of Shariah Court.

Other than his current job, he has experienced in conducting public talks and Islamic Estate Planning. His job experience includes preparing legal documentation of Islamic Will and Trust, administration of Muslim’s estate, and also conducting training for Islamic Estate Planner since 2008. His area of expertise also includes Islamic Law of Inheritance and other Islamic instruments pertaining to estate planning. He was the Head of Department of Legal & Documentation (for Financial Institutions) until 2020 and then continued acting as the Head of Business Support Department until 2022. From November 2022 until now he acts as the Central Region Manager of as-Salihin Trustee Berhad. He also acts as the Secretariat for Board of Syariah Advisors.
